Hard To Heal a Heart

Hear these words oh child of mine.
Another hard day has ended fine.
Reality is not all things are kind.
Deal with them, peace you will find.

To you my child I give heartfelt words.
Occasionally we let them fly with the birds.

Happiness is always near, no matter what.
Each minute, hour, changes all thought.
Again face life’s chapter, truth is sought.
Listen carefully, our hearts are caught.

Anger should be not, or life will distraught.

Hear my love reach out to ease your pains.
Even though words sometimes filled in distains,
Aggravate not your heart with heavy chains.
Remember all loving times your heart engrains.
Take them to your future, cherish their remains.
