Love Poem: Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday

Forgive me for feeling this way
From last year to this day
I've been in love with you
And i know these feelings are true

This is our senior year
And I'll never again have you near
Never to see your sweet smile
Or hear your contagious laugh
Separated by hundreds of miles
Kept apart by high priced gas

It doesn't matter anyway, i know you never wanted me
But this weight on my chest, i have to make you see

From the moment I first saw you
My eyes had become hooked
Like a sweet nectar i wanted you
The likes of a love story in a book
A beautiful woman, smart intelligent and FINE
A brain smart and intelligent, along with a body curvy and divine
Straight away i was told that you were out of my league
I never stood a chance and i should just make these feelings leave

Because of this i was hesitant, and somehow you noticed
And i saw the signs that told me to change my focus
All though i haven't tried, these feelings are still here
How can i forget you, when you're always near?
Forever i will love you, I'm happy I've confessed
Have a sweet birthday, i won't be here the next

                                           Hopefully Your Friend,
                                                        Will
