Happily Never After

Happily Never After?

Have you ever stopped and noticed, life just isn’t what it seems, for in the story it spoke of true love and to believe in all your dreams?
Well once upon, this rainy night, I sat and read this tale, a tale of how true love had lied, through all that had prevailed.
A knight in shining armor, (or so it is they say); “he’s here to save the day”, but little did the people know, that this Prince Charming truly is, the devil tucked away.
For he could not do, happily ever after and still be who he was inside; so he snuck around doing devilish deeds, while covering, all his lies.
It was the perfect life or so he thought, “they will never suspect a thing”,” but what to do if they found out?”, “I might lose the crown as king!”.
So Prince decided, that on that day, he would weaken those who pry; so that they would never question him and he’d never ever have to say, that his life was just a lie.
Then one day, Prince had taken off, to what I guess they call the secret lair; in which to meet the one he shared, an entangled love affair.
And yet she was close, to the princess, you could say friends in fact, and all the while they snuck about, how could they do this, behind her back?
It wasn’t till, years had passed, when the princess had found out, just what it was he’d done, and on that day she learned her life, was in fact a lie and it had started all on day one.
How was she, to except what’s done, and try to move on with her life, when all she ever dreamed about, was to one day become the Prince’s wife.
They never told this story once, this should have been the end, because in real life this is what you get, happily never after is the trend.
Dreams come from a figment of imagination, made from suppression, of the mind, created by what you want or need, but an illusion’s all you’ll find.
So don’t look to how the story was told, to find your ever after, look to where you it just seems right, and then start another chapter.
