As the darkness filled the sky, and day became night The still set in, by the candle's flickering light Ponderings left her silent, for she knew the days be short The sweetness of summers nectar Yea, the autumn winds blew North She knew of second chances as she revisited her past A man's words of wisdom with the stars that didn't last He a realist She a dreamer Both too shy for affection, too damned stubborn to compremise By twilight's glimmer, the stars fixed in the sky She ponders of life and love trickles o'er her brow She begins a love letter the strokes of her pen, so soft If he only could see better as the candle's flicker struggles, then gone In the darkness once more Yet this time she did not fear For it was dusk! Hallelujah the light is upon us! she said Sometimes I think of love, and life as the days grow short it's clear and I wonder if you'll remember me and how much I truly love you Dear Words are fluent as I write There's nothing left to fear but fear I shall see you on the other side! :) With Love, Lucinda Lu Price-Cayton
