Halcyon Days

Halcyon Days!
I do not seek your enmity but think I'm grateful we're not friends although we were for many years. Let half the nation say adieu, There's nothing I desire from you! I won't lean toward false gravity, defame my truth, praise your loose ends. I humbly thank you for your part in showing me a Judas kiss, but sad to know that you're so clear my dreams aren't dreams you care to hear. Still, swear to God, I'll view your art though pyrites salt Trump's mine's abyss. I don't seek win; I wish your gain, salvation's peace, not scammer's pact. My faith's Grace saves all fools who fall though sinners dream their truth fits all (their desperation sources pain.) Pray words don't harm, God's Grace, a fact! Brian Johnston 25th of October in 2020
