through hardship and pain
you are my
guardian
angel; the protector of
my eternal soul.
A godsend,
you watch over me
with loving
tenderness,
and bring me hope and comfort
in my times of need.
You were sent
to gently guide me
to the truth;
as a friend,
without ever having lied
to gain my favor.
I have faith
I need not pretend
to believe,
for God sent
me an angel, for a friend,
and I am content.
