Love Poem: Greener Grass

Greener Grass

Just don't ask me to care that cupboards long bare
Shipped out with the fair
Bestride the snake oil salesmen fortune tellers
and tears of the clown
But if it weren't for the circus where would people spend their wage money
On that which alleviates the pain refrains us from saying
Those 3 prophetic words
I am sorry
I love you and I will forever care a long as I can draw air
For if the grass is truly greener on the other side
Would you still be here talking to me now
