Love Poem: Great Light

Great Light

Those fall leaves fall on down,
Then scatter with the slightest breeze.
My kisses fall, but stay,
To feel the breath you breathe.

Dark clouds come flying fast,
And flying fast they go.
My arms, 'round words you cast,
Seek but to own you so.

There's cold within the morn,
And colder cold in night,
But in myself I've sworn
To warm me with great light.

Great light of speech I see,
Great light of lines I hear,
Great light of mystery
Becoming oh, so clear.

Those fall leaves fall on down,
Then scatter off and run.
I catch your verse to stay,
And fill my veins with sun.
