Got To Love Yourself

Whenever you look in the mirror
you just stand there and burst into tears
The reflection that stares back at you
is one that you fear
Your nose is much too wide
your teeth are crooked,
You've got crow's feet appearing at the corners of your eyes
and you can't stand the way you skin now looks.
Your breasts are way too small
your hips are much too wide,
You're too short, you'd rather been tall
and you've got lovehandles on each and every side.
Your don't have abs of steel
these days you can't seem to find your abs at all,
Your skin's in need of a serious facial peel
and as for your butt, it's too flabby and too small.
You feel that your hips are too wide and your thighs are too big
and your legs don't look all that great either,
You feel discouraged when trying to find clothes that actually fits
shopping has become a real hassle.
Your hair's much too kinky, course, and thick
so much you wish you could wear it down and straight,
Throwing your hair back in a ponytail's the way you've been wearing it
that's the only style it can tolerate.
You're so quick to view yourself as having these physical flaws
you don't look at them as being a testement of your true beauty,
You've got to learn to embrace these things with open arms
they're a true testament of your beauty.
Girlfriend, you've got to learn to love yourself
you've got to learn to accept yourself,
Girlfriend, you've got to learn to be one with yourself
you've got to learn to be at peace with yourself.
