Love Poem: Goodbye Me

Goodbye Me

I was born blind
To
The joys
And
Could only see Life’s cruelty
But then you came
And
Brought back all the good to me.
such is that
ever so fleeting
But love
oh love
You tortuous love
Deceived by
Words
Of
false assurance
I love you’s disappeared into the night sky
As I slam down the phone
One last time,
And I died
Slowly
DROWNING
In my restless slumber
Your words
Washed over me
And I drowned in memories of
Your beautiful smile
Choking on salty
Tears
Of a lost goodbyes
waves pile crash
and I am
blindly searching
 for refuge
on starless night
On the
bottom
of
the
Dark ocean
Of loss
carried by the
current of confusion
my lifeless body
dangles
in
gods hands
I tremble
The
Moonlight
Reflects
Off
 the Oceanic view
The mistress of the sea
we are through
bobbing along
I am gone
kelp
princess
binds my mouth
and I am breathless
Death
to me
Love tainted all that was pure
And true
Blind to the joys of life
I couldn’t see
Only life’s cruelty
You are gone, but still best part of me

wave goodbye
to the girl that was me
waves in the night
wave goodbye
