Goodbye For Now

Shadows are creeping in
With my life now
I don’t know where to end or begin
This game I’m not sure I’ll win
Kind of seems as if
Loving you is another of my many sins
It’s my crime, and yes I do the time
Which the punishment maybe
Never again having your heart loving me
Even in the light of day
Darkness always gets in the way
The pain is all so real
Don’t have a chance to catch my feelings
Let alone deal with them
Yeah I’m on the run
From myself
Hiding away once more
Easier that way
My own words is what I try desperately
To ignore
My fears telling me to give up this fight
Trying to make me again lose sight
Of the people I worked so very hard to find
In this case being scared is not an emotion
In which is kind
And there it is in black and white
There is no meeting in the middle
There is no grey
It is the price I pay
I’ll try not to keep letting
My emotions get in the way
Of every ones day to day
Nothing more to say
Except I really do
Still love you
Hope to hear from you soon someway, somehow
Goodbye for now
