Good Bye
In a second, the world changes.
People, places, things,
nothing is ever the same.
We were destined to be together.
The heavens smiled upon us
as we looked into each others eyes.
Many years will pass us by as we stand
in that moment and remember the warmth
that will be a part of us forever.
The sun will shine tomorrow,
taking away the hurt we both feel.
I am sure if it is meant to be,
God will be there
to provide the path to take.
In the end, it will be decided,
the right direction.
Love is a gift,
a feeling that never goes away.
In my heart, the feelings remain
as warm as they were when we met.
