God's Mysterious Ways
It came as a shock, what life had thrown her way…
“Oh Lord please help me cope, I pray to you today.”
God in His great wisdom, sent blessings yet untold…
She watched in silent wonder, as each gift did unfold.
A bird flew to her window…as if to say “I’m here”
“God watches over me, and He will ease your cares.”
A friend called just to say, “I love you lots, my friend,
And I will always be here, my friendship will not end.”
Take all the time you need….I’ll be waiting here for you.
Please know my heart is honest, and my promises are true.
A butterfly came flitting, across her line of view…
Lord thank you so much, I know it came from you!
God placed within her life, the children she has borrowed.
What lovely souls He gave me, to help me through my sorrow.
Grandchildren! Lord words won’t come for the joy you’ve given me…
My heart is full to overflowing, you’ve set my soul so free!
Thank you for the love you’ve placed within my life…
You sent someone who really loves me, here on earth tonight.
You knew that I was lonely, and you hear all your children’s cries.
Thank you for your love, and with me always abide.
I thank you Lord for all things, both great, small and sweet,
Thank you for the trials, that make my journey complete.
Mold me Lord to your will, create in me a clean heart,
And on my lips each morning, With you, is where I start…
Asking you to walk with me, for without you I would fall…
Lord help all the other hurting souls, Lord, please bless them all.
