God Took Away My Yesterdays
God Took Away My Yesterdays…
God took away my yesterdays, and gave a peace within.
He washed me clean and took away my sin!
God took away the sorrow I had
and brought joy instead.
He gave to me words of life and his daily bread!
God took away the pain I had.
I no longer have to bear!
He spoke words of comfort to me
and told me that he cares!
God took away the many uncertainties
that laid before me…
He brought his love to my heart,
and now is always with me!
God took away the “weights of life”
that would “pull me down.”
Each day that I’m with him.
His grace is all around!
God took all doubts I had and brought
a healing to my mind!
He’s been good to me!
Always loving and kind!
God can take away your yesterdays!
Why not give him a chance?
He can change your life today!
No matter the circumstance!
God will always be there for you…
Waiting for your call!
Living for him and trusting him
will always be worth it all!
