Love Poem: Glimpse

Glimpse

Imagine complete annihilation, of all that you hold dear.
Think of a young child's life, full of nothing but fear.
Could you even envision a playground, with no children playing?
How about a room of folded hands, but no one is praying?

Conceptualize the anguish, if there was no more morning sun.
Only feeling detached, never having any fun.
Consider living life, if the beauty was suddenly all gone.
Never assimilating and rest, from dusk until dawn.

Could you imagine all hope, forever being lost?
How about never again feeling love, only the bitter cost.
All of this and much more, could very easily come true.
You've now seen a glimpse, of my world without you.
