Giving Grace

Expensive, almost like love that has been lost Pain cleansing gentlest memories, those who bruise There are times when I cry but don’t count the cost There’s an ache clinging to my heart when I loose The joy, the faith, hope and truth that comes to life In those who believe despite thoughts who confuse Dreams, so convincing, moods who cut like a knife Ending beauty, making the kindest heart break Feels like evil stealing faith, creating strife This is true love and there’s just so much at stake Life won’t be what it was before his embrace My heart only needed love who won’t forsake It’s not the hurt that brings tears, but just in case Be sure to give with a heart whose full of grace
