Give To Him
We have only one go at this thing called life,
and if we follow His word, we will get it right.
Hard times may come, and some may leave,
some bringing happiness, some bringing grief.
All these things, we contend with everyday,
prayer is hope, and the love He sends our way.
His Book was written a long time ago,
designed for us, so we would know.
Sickness or health, our destiny is clear,
and if we love the Lord, He will rest our fears.
He knows our thoughts, He knows our deeds,
He rescued us, on that hillside tree.
Give to Him, our sorrow, and pain,
He is our Savior, and Jesus is His name.
