Love Poem: Ghosthunters and Spiritualists

Ghosthunters and Spiritualists

Seances seem to me
Are all pretense and foolery,
When it comes to mediums
Just charlatans, and tedium.

And tarot readings, what are they
Just money grabbers out to play,
Despite all this I believe
Our loved ones visit when we grieve.

But an audience plays no part
For my loved one dwells within my heart,
She visits me, and me alone
Not in a theatre, nor down a phone.

I do not question, I do not care
For it comforts me when she is there,
Just to feel her light, her love,
A blessing, from the Lord above.
