GENERATION X
Generation X, is my time, it is the time of death and change and things only imagined in dreams and nightmares.
Generation X, learned many versions of the future, like we would all sing and get along, love would be our vow, and no harm would come to all.
Generation X, was taught that now is not the time to give birth, that pregnancy, was just an issue that could be fixed, with abortion and birth control.
Generation X, was taught to let it all hang out, and to be happy to show it all.
Generation X, was brought up with mixed history and it keeps changing as we grow.
Generation X, grew up with few adults around because most of the mothers had to work and keep the house, because the father left or they got divorced.
Some generation X, turned to drugs and alcohol, ending their life before it began, they fell into the lost and did not make it out of the dark.
Some generation X, went to war and never came home after giving it all, they did us proud and we remember them when we lower our flag and pray for their soul.
Some Generation X, remember we use to pray and follow morals with hopes abound.
Some Generation X, remember how we loved getting color tv in our home, but the tv also showed things that may have hurt our ideas, like learning violence and other negative things.
Today some Generation X, live and work to bring America to a happy place.
Sadly, Generation X, has lost a lot of people from abortion to birth control, to drugs and alcohol, to violence than ever remembered before.
Some are homeless, because family’s come first for services, and they are a family of one, making them last on the list for help, making them sleep on the street.
Generation X, has learned that a lot hate our flag and want to kill us, making us live in fear and feel like we are in a foreign land.
Generation X, is learning every day, and we hope and pray to live in peace and not need to go to war.
Lifting prayers to God, today and always.
