she knew something was wrong
I try to explain
words try
they bend around the sharp curves of emotion
but break in the attempt
they slip and slide
on my tongue
unable to catch any of them
in order to form an intelligible sentence
they almost made it
but died on my lips
unable to speak
I text her
still unable to explain what I feel
my heart knows nothing about words
so the text she got says :(
"him?"
I nod
she always knows
that's why shes my friend
