Friendships.
Friendships, come and go,
with you I know this is not so.
I have friendships in the past,
moved away, they didn't last.
We said we would write and say,
but it never happened that way.
For some the telephone is too much,
they don't really want to stay in touch.
Friends like that I can do with out,
there not worth, thinking about.
I know I have a friend in you,
to you ,I will always be true.
We go back quite a way,
I don't regret a single day.
I will keep in contact with you,
that I promise here today,
I will never let you fade away.
You are so special to me,
it could never be the end,
your my special friend.
