Friends
Friendship is one with which most hold dear
It's something that is never judged or given out of fear
A relationship that is of mutual understanding and respect
An undying admiration in each and every aspect
Something so very sacred and true
You want to be there for them just as they have been there for you
You would answer that call or door in the wee hours of the night
You would listen all the time wishing you could make it alright
By each other through thick and thin
Because losing them due to anything would truly be a sin
Waiting there with open arms even if it causes you pain
Through every mistake you forgive because this friendship was not given in vain
You know each other so well that really no words need to be said
And let them know you will forever be there again and again
Even if for what they are doing your heart has bled
The feelings for them could never change
You care for them through it all just the same
Dedication that nothing or no one could ever divide
Reach out to them there is no need to hide
Sharing in your lifes' times of bad and good
Knowing right by your side is where they have always stood
Just having them there your world is a better place
So secure in what you have between you without them you would for surely lose that race
No matter what other people may think or what they may say
You know it's your friends that have been there for you and listened day after day
No matter what happens around us
We will always and forever keep that trust

There was such unconditional emotions right from the very start
It's no wonder as to why you all have touched and are kept deep within my heart
I am so grateful to have the people in my life am honored to call them all my friends
