Lord keep me from angst and undue stress this day,
filling my mouth with only good things to say.
You've shown me ample love when I've felt depressed,
now no day passes when I'm not feeling blessed.
From east to west You removed my transgression,
let my witness become today's obsession.
Forgiving my sin has become my true wealth,
from the jaws of death you twice restored my health.
Let my thoughts this day all be centered on you,
for the fields are white but laborers are few.
