Love Poem: Forgotten Love

Forgotten Love

Wildly winds separate the trees and streams
that shelter and nourish our fondest dreams.
Casting memories that were deep-seated
and expectations never completed.

Timely devotion grew like weeds on land
soon disappeared like rocks on ocean sand.
Never to nourish or take root
even to bear the sweetest fruit.

Heavens that rumble and burst open wide
disclose a vacuum my bosom must hide.
Torment that holds on like vise grips
cutting jagged chunks till heart rips.

Dead senses break emotions once felt
like majestic glaciers before the melt.
