Forgiveness
Forgiveness: A most beautiful word,
kindness and love are carefully stirred.
Apply it softly, as if to new skin,
so minds can gentle and let love in.
Love caresses hearts, yearning and blue;
sings soft music and whispers to you.
Sprinkles magic on dreams unaware,
so sleep is sweet, like floating in air.
Hate, despair disappear from each mind;
all it takes is someone to be kind.
Forgiveness reflects both ways, you know--
love bounces back upon those who sow.
"Forgive": the greatest gift one can give.
Opens doors to a place peace must live.
It's as though a golden light above
accepts your gift, returns one of love.
