Forgiveness
Thank you, Lord, for a vision.
To curl up in the gates of heaven.
And listen to the bells ring.
To tell me that I am, forgiven.
My eyes are heavy with weeping.
Tears have drip dried on my face.
Smiles formed and began fading.
Leaving stains to mark the place.
But, forgiveness is a quest to win.
over pride carried over everything.
God's grace working deep within,
Stir the soul that is still searching.
For the answers to find destiny
Surety lies in the path to eternity.
