Love Poem: Forever In Your Eyes

Forever In Your Eyes

Forgive my fatigued fingers as they get lost in the calligraphy of your curvature,
Outlining a hypnotic silhouette so provocative that my sinful glances feel forbidden;
Remind me with a kiss from your frisson-infused lips that my heart roars untamed,
Echoing the passion-draped whispers of my breath as it fights your endless thievery;
Validate my delight to roam in the carnage of your eyes as you pierce my silent walls,
Evaporating the melancholy that dolefully drifts down on the nights we sleep apart;
Rare is the moment I'm unable to recall your dulcet ebullience as my eternal embrace--

Inside your petal-burst eyes is where the cozy warmth of love's inglenook keeps me safe,
Never deceived by swollen dreams I hear the symphony of your voice even in slumber;

Your starlit smile beleaguers wasted desires to lie hidden beneath a penumbra of sadness,
Opening the curtains to the wild tempest of a sun-splashed canvas dappled atop my bliss;
Unfettered felicity undulates tranquil waters ravaged by the rhythm of your sultry song,
Restlessly granting me the gallantry to traverse the infinite seas of our mellifluous love;

Evermore I promise to quench the thirst of your love in an incessant deluge of devotion,
Yearning for more than just seldom lipstick-kisses and annual candle-dinner traditions;
Expecting to burn in the scorch of your gaze I vow countless chapters of a fiery sunrise,
Scattered like the pencil shavings of love's unspoken story, written, forever in your eyes;
