Forever I Will

Ever wonder what'll happen in your old age?
Will you still be popular, will you still be the rage?
Who's gonna love you Paula, when you're over the hill
Don't worry too much darling because I promise I will

If you live to be a hundred dear, all wrinkled and frail
I'd still be by your side Paula, loving you without fail
Who will love you if the world stops and stands still
Silly question really sweetheart, coz I promise I will

Some say, to live with me you must be a bit of a dill
Others worry and think that you may be mentally ill
As long as you live Paula, you will give me a thrill
Are they gonna love you? no, but I promise I will

When we move to Tazzy, perhaps later in the year
I'll have more time with you, of that there's no fear
Loving you is easy Paula, don't need a special skill
Loved you yesterday, today too and forever I will

They all said it wouldn't last, God only knows why
Twenty years it will be sweetheart this coming July
All my dreams and desires dear, you help me fulfill
I'll try hard to fulfill yours to Paula, I promise I will

So try not to worry too much about your future dear
No-one really knows what will happen, all is unclear
One thing is for certain, you've been so inspirational
Years back I loved you, I do now and forever I will
