Love Poem: Forever Eternally With You

Forever Eternally With You

The crickets
filled the air
one night, with
subtle chirping
beats

The moon
and stars set
up to shine,
as they take
their seats

The wind
has settled down
to sing the
songs it’s tucked
away

They sound
like graceful
symphonies an
orchestra would
play

But if
my mind
were on those
things, my heart
it never knew

For it
simply ignored
those sounds
and thought of
only you

My heart
you see, it
dedicates some
time for you
each day

To think
about your
loveliness, keep
other thoughts
bay

Most times
you are the
reason why I’m
in that happy
mood

That special
place I spoke
about, what
joy you do
include

You fill
me full of
happiness, a
feeling that never
parts

You have
that pure
divinity, to
cure my aching
heart

You are
the one I’ve
longed for
and dreamed
about at night

The one
that’s made
my darkest days
clear and full
of light

You stir
me in a
potent love, a
love so ever
new

And now
I want to
spend forever…
eternally with
you
