Here I am spilling my heart on this note pad.
I'm barely clinging to my sanity not trying to go mad.
Ive been watching the colorless days slowly go by.
Catching glimpse's of you in an unearthly black sky.
I wonder how long this storm will rage on?
There's no comfort in thought that your already gone.
There was time when I could call you mine.
Nowa days im searching for something that's impossible to find.
Without you there can't be no me.
To my heart you held the key.
I can't sleep and seldom sleep the whole night through.
Cause you play in all my thoughts and I know there ain't no me and you.
Now im empty handed and I try to do whats right.
But most days I struggle and I often lose the fight.
For you I fell oh so hard.
Now our love story has left me battle scared.
Ive picked myself up and started to walk again.
I can never forget the places you and I have been.
When I think back to the times when we both truly cared.
It brings a smile to my face and I won't forget the memories we share.
