Forest Trees
Trees have their own community
Living in peace, love and harmony.
They live shoulder to shoulder
Always same; fairer or bolder.
They have grown over years, still erect
Many older; yet humans begin to forget.
These masses of wood have grown more leaves
With beards of green, no signs of griefs.
Grown more life on their barks and trunk
Humans turn bald and with age have shrunk.
Trees commune, agreeing with one another
Waking early, feed on gases; they call supper
They too enjoy changes in their life span
Shedding leaves, sunbathing when they can.
At night they droop their leaves to sleep
Waking before sunrise, God’s secret to keep.
