Love Poem: Forbidden Love

Forbidden Love

What is these furtive eyes trying to tell me….
Is it some emotion for me…could it be... first sight love…
Oh, where were you while I lived for such a long time...
Where were you while I endured those painful days...
Look I’m here, hidden in a being, in a heart hardened
might be with treachery… might be with unfaithfulness…
Where were you…where were you my love when I looked
for you in every corner of the world…like those passionate
who forget the count of time, age and place….
Could it be that you were lost inside me; in the dawn of my youth…
or is it in the secret realm of my femininity…
These furtive eyes are telling me an old story…
a story of love, so ardent,so ancient…a story counted over eras!
This magical moment makes me feel a presence….
Oh…….the presence of a heart, at last!
I can hear the ruffling of the pages of all the novels read.
I can feel, in between the lines, how you flow like cool breeze…
It tingles my dormant feelings so lazy to wake up.
A shy smile dares touch my lips which tremble
at the thought of being wiped away in jiffy!
You’ve seduced me….yes…and...
may be now you’re going to hurt me a little…..
may be now you’re going to love me a little….
But, please never desert me again….
Ultimately, you’ll reside in me, hidden in the deepest
corner of my heart.
I’ll make sure you’re not exposed to the ruthless.
There my love, you may grow like those flowers which
never die!
