For the Love of a Woman

There are few things a man wouldn't do for a woman's desire,

Her desire for him to ignite her hearts fire,

In fact, there isn't anything a man wouldn't do,

To make sure he has a woman to hold on to,

He will go through hell and back ten times,

Over razor fences and through land mines,

He would take a thousand bullets to the head,

Cause its all worth it to have that woman in his bed.

He would dodge a million cars and gain countless scars,

Just to put her head on his chest and watch the stars,

Its love,

Its cold and its hard, but its sweet,

And its love.

So many times a man risks his life,

Not for money, not for fame, but for a wife,

For a woman to love him as he does her,

Someone to be his broken hearts cure,

He just wants somebody to love,

Somebody to show him what this life is made of.

So is it so much to ask that a woman loves him,

After all, what is a mans love if its unrequited and dim,

It is nothing, nothing but pain built up inside,

Nothing but hurt that he will always hide,

I'm not saying to love every man,

not all men will love you,

I'm just saying to give them a chance,

Cause you never know when their love is true.
