For My Late Husband

Along the coolness of the oaks we walked.
Honeymooners dreams, was our secret talk!
Eucalyptus trees smiled, scenting our way.
Twas “our” San Francisco first come what may.

I never thought, you would die so very young.
But you taught me independence and deep love.
That gift you gave me, to not follow nor a groupie be.
Was the biggest gift ever, till we conjoin in eternity .

Your wisdom, laughter, love so sorely missed.
But a wife never forgets the magic of your kiss.
Nor the great Bohemian days when we married.
When death comes,to you, I shall run and not tarry!

All my love,
Panagiota
