For I Have Been Blessed
Treasured and priceless is my wonderful life,
not only because I’m a mother and wife,
but because I am kind and try to do good,
hold onto hope and destroy all the strife.
For so much heartache I have withstood,
but I get back up, let go and move ahead,
and mean every considerate word said.
Precious and cherished is my existence
as I try to live in joy without resistance.
Valuable are my friends and sweet family,
for me they would travel any distance.
I am grateful for their deep faith in me.
This path I lead shall be so notorious,
because I live a life renown and fabulous.
My daughter is my true prized possession.
For she is my rock, this is my confession.
My hubby treats me better than gold,
means every word in his loving expression.
Since he came into my life, I’ve been sold.
In awe am I with all that I have been given-
for God has bestowed a great life to live in.
