Love Poem: Folly of a Lonely Man

Folly of a Lonely Man

Shall I dare to fall in love again?
Shall I dare to walk away?
Shall I dare to leave the world behind,
Or shall I bravely stay?

But for the staying, am I wiser,
Or one deprived of wit?
Shall I dare to fall in love again,
And every tear forget?

One valiant in the face of fear,
Or maybe only this—
The folly of a lonely man,
Who dreams of but a kiss.
