Follow Your Heart
Even though your not here, I'll say this as though I'm looking in your eyes.
In love there's no never's or goodbye's.
There's long embraces, or that anxious feeling inside when it's just time to say hi.
There's no akward pauses,
or hidden flaws,
because in real love there's no rule book or made up laws.
You'll look deep inside and know that person for who they truely are.
Stuff that no one will ever see, then you'll wave that banner of love proudly.
Love so good you'll climb the top of the mountain and belt it loudly.
Something so good there's no way you can keep it inside,
even when you say "I Love You" instead of goodbye.
Why people don't follow their heart remains a mystery to me,
because God speaks to us through our hearts,
and in times of darkness it's through our heart he shows us the way.
So I'll leave this on your heart with these last words being said.
"Loving you is so great I wouldn't dare keep it inside,
it's something greater than being put on paper to be kept throughout time,
it's greater than being immortalized in a poem or a song,
it's God's way of letting me know that with you is where I'll always belong,
and with God following your heart you won't ever go wrong."
