Floating

“From the dust of despair rises the dream with lingering hope of longing” – Quote by poet From the dust of the demolished dreams I rise, for I won’t let the sonorous songbird in me die, even though I hear my hollow heart how it cries, now on my wings I will soar in the serene sky. I feel the soft touch of serenading southern wind, in its wake to reach the heights of bliss I try, wafting through the silver-lined cloud of my mind, floating content in cobalt cauldron of firmament high. The halcyon horizon shimmers with sunburst color, the dainty dawn splashes sublime hues on my canvas. I paint the tangerine-tinged clumps of cloud there, flushing like the flaming flowers in my vibe vase. The lyric of lingering love I write only for you, out from my heart in the cleft of cloud it lies. Weaving the lattice of lilting love it turns into the tapestry of my dream, and in your sky it flies. Away from me in an unknown lonesome land far, when the spring’s beguiled breeze will caress you, whisper in your ear to tell you love is in the air, rippling rapture will make for me a floating feeling new. I will then find you morph into a butterfly fluttering free, the wings colored with ecstasy overflowing the brim. If you look at the sparkling sky you will see, on a passing cloud drifts away my floating dream.
