Flickers Melt

When the dusk drifts off to sleep
inside a heightened haze

I turn my head to catch a glimpse
saffron flowers floating down
lying close unto thy grace
a beauty glows upon her face

Kiss my soul and carry me
kiss my lips at sun's last light
take me home with you tonight

Flickers melt hot oil spilt
my way only found out by touch
heading towards the rush
beheld a crimson moonlit blush

Steady as your pulse does race
my vision holds you taught
brushing hearts thump in reflux
forever braiding naught
