Love Poem: Flew Through a Crash

Flew Through a Crash

Where barbs cut and tore the ears,
harsh words maimed and poured out tears,
violent actions shuddered the torso,
blame flew one way, to the other more so,
impaled by the condemning pointing finger,
as the blood boils the hatred would linger,

past is the past, learnt from the mistakes,
learnt some lessons, this heart will never break,
took the knocks, will take the fall,
now looking to the future, standing tall,
another long road carrying the burdened load,
but piece by piece it lightens as the sadness drops and unfolds....
