Love Poem: First True Love

First True Love

Pondering my years of love life, trying to recall if there was a first love, I remember the hurts and pain and strife, the temporary warmth of false love, Promises of a future, never to leave, so-called experience, time spent wasted, this I know I will never be able to retrieve, my heartfelt love once had, in old books pasted. Chasing relationships forever looking for the one, even marrying with a dishonest undertaking, gave me a child, saying our family has begun, now getting divorced the pain is not faking. Many a year later, my first love I met, incredible, wishes now true for my first true love, I know this, past feelings, memories and even smells, forgettable, her presence, our togetherness, is true, pure bliss. My first real love is now, no talking of promises, happiness, as we are special, and meant to be, no need, for falseness, or forgiveness’s, destined to grow together as one, you see.
