Love Poem: First Time Jitters

First Time Jitters

It's so quiet all around
There is not one single sound
In this room that we're both in
Scared to death how to begin
This new chapter as they grow
Finding a way they can show
How much they mean to each other
As they take it one step further
Slowly they start to undress
As they both feel the stress
Of the actions to occur
He gently lays a hand on her
Helping her lean on the bed
Many thoughts fill up their head
Soon they are nude and so frightened
But somehow are so enlightened
By the feeling from within
As they touch each others skin
Warm and soft and close together
This is something they will never
Forget as they gently make
Love that is going to take
Them on a journey to descend
Them into lovers, not just friends
They fall asleep so close and tight
Two hot bodies in the night
Wake up in each others arms
No longer scared but very calm
Realizing they just grew
An experience helped take them to
Adulthood through this miracle occurrence
Both their eyes show an assurance
It was the right time and place
As a smile lights their face
