First Date

First date
My first date was on a steaming train, really
Blonde strange lady, no not plain, nice,
A fellow followed from station to station, yes he did.
Wanted to marry her, loves creation, and the rest.
An old man on the train then he said, he did.
“You won’t catch her, no chance Ned”
So muggins me I had to try, had to.
To show just him, the older guy?
Heather told me all about herself, the lot.
With no idea, I moved with stealth. got to smile.
I lay upon her green skirt, lap, good fun.
Played the part of the movie chap, so I thought.
The old guy was in speechless shock, perhaps.
Sleeper bound at 3 oclock,
“What now” I thought, “what do I do,” virgin hey.
First time was hers, first was me too.

Ah yes the fire still burns, and lovers yearn,
the thoughts of stolen kisses,
do we from life a lesson learn,
first love is surely blissss
