Love Poem: First Date

First Date

The sanctity of our bodies.

Dismissing distance.

Confiding in the dominance of forever.

Leaving behind the infinate of gravity,

We clutch together.

Strenthening the bonds of unpredictable persuasion.

I have lost myself in you, and you in me.

While the winds of life blow cold and hard,

We accept the slain world to rule as our own.

Dancing and gloating in each other's eyes we reach-

For eternity.

Grasping for the throbbing heartbeat of true love,

Simultaneously we whisper the answer of life to each other.

I love you, we say, we begin to create a word,

A word that will be known for you and me.

First there was Adam, then there was Eve,

Now there is us,

Maybe that's the word it could be.

In our minds we think and agree,

Words have no meaning,

For the you, and the me.

Time has no chain, in our lives as we be.

Free of ourselves, and, as one we can see.

Life is too short, we're infinity, a forever growing seed.

I love you, and I'm so glad, you love me.
