First Christmas gift—God sent his son
To live as man until work done.
He came to us, mankind to save,
So loved the world His life he gave.
A gift like this, can’t be outdone.
He suffered slights, task had begun
To capture Earth without a gun.
Our treachery the Christ forgave,
First Christmas gift!
Christmas is near, before it’s done
We hope to find amidst the fun
A gift so rare as Infant brave.
A love like his we dearly crave.
Why is it then His gift we shun?.
