Love Poem: Fingerprints

Fingerprints

is this always how we view it? is this truly a distraction?,
or are we just so unfamiliar with this wide range of different attractions,
how one chooses to give can differ, not one person is the same,
each fingerprinted pattern is God's love to view and gain,
opposites draw in to curiousity, to learn of different views,
if sameness was the majority, what interests could be valued to move,
what spark of love could conspire, or in inspirations led to compassion to stand,
the heart of the ones who open that door shares more than what they understand,
love echoes through its walls, faint but enough to hear,
enough to where we must lean in for the distance stands far from our ears,
its what we choose to hear and what we choose to see,
openness can stand apart from us if that's how we choose to be,
interests always starts with one, one heart, one hand to give,
the examples of love start to multiply, teaching us God's love to live.
