Fighting This Feeling
It takes all the woman in me to fight you off
But I can't let you get too close or it'll ruin us all
I know there's a reason she is in your life
and I didn't come into this trying to cause any strife
It's funny how two people can be so right
I chuckle to my self and try not to get mad
because you belong to someone and regardless
if she treats you right or she treats you wrong
It shouldn't be me to make you want to run
I never meant to cause any harm
Just a simple platonic friendship between
a boy and a girl
I didn't realize until too late that this guy
and girl had so much potential to date
this guy could possibly become my whole world
under my breath I swore upon this realization
where had all these feeling manifested?
I can't even distance myself away from you
because I see you everyday
The more time we spend together
the more I get afraid
You get me like no other guy
and I can't help wishing you were mines
but these words I will never say aloud
because I know that it would be wrong.
