Love Poem: Fathomless

Fathomless

Overwhelming Is the rapture of love, the grief for all those I hold dear. O, infinite death, this throbbing aching. This imprint on the mind, never-ending pain of memory. O, the images, tokens, recollections. All the dreams that haunt me, vast paintings of days long past. O, torment and anguish of love and death. Bottomless is the pain, I fall each night into darkness. O, I cherish each weeping, stabbing tear. So, heartbreaking, the grief, but an endless chasm, rumbling as the deep blue sea, whispering, murmuring and sighing. _____________________ March 16, 2013 Poetry/Verse/Abysmal/Fathomless Copyright Protected, ID 03-463-757-26 All Rights Reserved, 2013, Constance La France
