Falling In Love With Love Again

The more I give to you,
The more I cry,
A blurred vision of love,
As seen through a tear stained eye.

I know not the reason,
For these tears,
My lonely soul left so empty,
As I realize all of my fears.

I offered you all of your desires,
No limits to what I gave.
Then you left me cold and drowning,
In my tear filled grave.

You said I was the one for you,
You said I was the one you wanted.
With those chilling words of good-bye,
I am left forever haunted.

No reason was given,
As out of my life you went.
Never able to get back,
The time we spent.

The pain doesn't last forever,
But it always hurts the same.
Always on the losing side,
Of this dangerous game.

In the morning I will wake,
Knowing that my heart will mend.
Just to begin another mistake,
And be broken all over again.
