Falling In Love Is Like

Falling, falling, falling.
All I hear is white.
All I see is black.
Pain sears hot and red in my chest.

It blossoms.
It spreads.
It aches.
It hurts.

I’m still falling,
falling,
falling,
fast.

Warm pressure on my hand,
in my head,
throughout my chest,
making me smile.

Tears run hot
and fall from my face,
up, down,
out of me.

White thoughts.
Black vision.
Someone next to me.
We fall together.
